Taisuke Nishimura is a Japanese actor, voice actor, playwright, and director. He was born on January 15, 1967, in Tokyo, Japan. He is a graduate of the Performing Arts Academy. He is affiliated with the talent agency Seinenza Eihou and is also the leader of the theater unit Guwalinyaon.

Nishimura's career in entertainment began in the early 1990s as a member of a comedy duo. After the duo disbanded, he shifted his focus to theater, founding his own unit and establishing himself as a playwright and director. His stage work has been recognized with several awards. In addition to his work in voice acting for anime and video games, he is also active as a screenwriter for dramas and films, a narrator, and a performer in television dramas.

As a voice actor, Nishimura has accumulated a wide range of credits across anime, video games, and dubbing foreign films and dramas. Notable foreign language dubbing roles include voicing Varys in the Japanese dub of the television series Game of Thrones and contributing to Marvel Cinematic Universe films such as the Guardians of the Galaxy series and Eternals. His video game work includes the role of Salvatore Moreau in Resident Evil Village.

In anime, he frequently plays authoritative, teacher-like roles, such as vice principals or coaches. Examples of this include the Vice Principal in Sound! Euphonium and a role in Yuri on Ice. He also voiced the character Pulcinella in the Overlord series. His roles are not limited to authority figures, however, and include characters like Idol Rabier in The Rising of the Shield Hero and Akio Naraku in A Centaur's Life.

Nishimura's involvement with specific series can extend across multiple formats. For instance, he voiced the character Geek in the 2019 anime television series Afterlost, an adaptation of the mobile game Shōmetsu Toshi. Prior to this, he had already provided the voice for the same character, Geek, in the original Shōmetsu Toshi game in 2014. Similarly, he was involved in the 2014 multimedia project Konna Watashi-tachi ga Nariyuki de Heroine ni Natta Kekka www, often shortened to Narihero www, which had both a television anime and a theatrical anime release. In this project, he voiced the characters Supervisor Kyattso and Catso Tōkatsu, as well as a character credited as representative.
