Haruka Shamoto is a Japanese voice actress born on November 12, 1996, in Aichi Prefecture. She began her career in entertainment in 2012 by voicing the character Hirokoji Clara for Chita Musume, a local promotional project for the Chita Peninsula in her hometown, a role she held until 2016. After moving to Tokyo in 2016, she enrolled in the training school for the agency Ken Production and was soon cast in her first major role as Hinata Sakuragi in the game 8 beat Story♪. This role also marked her debut as a member of the associated music unit, 8/pLanet!!. She officially became a member of Ken Production in April 2017 and remained with the agency until the end of 2024, when she announced her departure to work as a freelance voice actress.
