Hikari Sonoyama

Hikari Sonoyama is a Japanese voice actress from Hokkaido, born on November 17. She is affiliated with the agency Swallow, a subsidiary of Pony Canyon. Her path to voice acting was unconventional, as she initially worked as a suit actor before transitioning to voice performance. She is a graduate of the second class of P's Voice Artist School.
Sonoyama made her professional debut in May 2018, voicing the character Yua in the mobile game Shoumetsu Toshi 2. This role became her first major credit and a cornerstone of her early career. She reprised the role of Yua in the 2019 anime television series adaptation of the game, titled Afterlost, marking her first regular role in an animated series. Her involvement with the Shoumetsu Toshi franchise extended beyond voice work, as she became a member of the idol unit SPR5, a group formed from characters within the game. With SPR5, she performed the ending theme song for the Afterlost anime and contributed to various character song albums.
In addition to her debut role, Sonoyama has built a portfolio of supporting and guest roles across anime, games, and stage productions.
