Kaori Himeki is a Japanese manga artist who began her professional career in 1983 with the story Soshite Yasashii x Kankei, which was published in the manga magazine Princess. She is credited as the original creator of the series Gense Shugoshin P-hyoro Ikka. The manga was serialized in Gekkan Princess, published by Akita Shoten, starting in 1986 and eventually spanned nine volumes.

The series was adapted into a three-episode original video animation (OVA) also titled Gense Shugoshin P-hyoro Ikka, which was released in 1988. The OVA was directed by Satoshi Dezaki, and Himeki was involved beyond the original work, providing the lyrics for the theme song. The story falls within the fantasy and adventure genres and is classified as shoujo manga, targeting a young female demographic.

Beyond this representative work, Himeki has built a career focused on manga, particularly romance and drama. She has served as the artist for several adaptations of foreign romance novels, illustrating manga versions of Harlequin and other romance publications.
