Violette Chauveau is a French-Canadian actress born in 1963 in Israel, recognized for her extensive work in theatre and voice acting, particularly in the French dubbing of films and animated series for the Quebec market. She is a graduate of the Conservatoire d'art dramatique in Montreal, completing her studies there in 1986.

Her career is notably marked by a long and prolific association with dubbing, where she has provided the Quebec French voice for a wide range of characters in animated series. Among her most recognized roles in animation is Dorothée in the Japanese anime series The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, based on L. Frank Baum's classic story. Her voice work in animation also includes the character Diminou in the children's series Arthur, Jennifer Larkin in Sacré Andy?, Poucette in the adaptation of the same name, and various roles in popular shows such as Caillou, where she voiced Mousseline and Clémentine, and Les Nouveaux Bisounours as Violette.
