Flaminia Jandolo was an esteemed Italian actress and voice actress, recognized for her extensive contributions to dubbing, particularly in animated films and series. Born in Rome on February 11, 1930, she embarked on her career in the early 1950s, initially working in radio drama for RAI before transitioning to voice acting and dubbing. Over a career spanning nearly seven decades, she became a prominent figure in the Italian dubbing industry until her passing in Rome on May 22, 2019.

One of her notable parts in anime was providing the Italian voice for the character Hans in the 1968 anime film Le meravigliose favole di Andersen, a movie based on the life and tales of Hans Christian Andersen. For Walt Disney Productions, she lent her voice to Lady in Lady and the Tramp (1955 dub), the fairy Merryweather in Sleeping Beauty (1959 dub), Perdita in One Hundred and One Dalmatians (1961 dub), Anastasia in the 1967 redub of Cinderella, and the mother of Thumper in the 1968 redub of Bambi. Other significant animated roles included Mrs. Brisby in The Secret of NIMH and Cindy Bear in various Yogi Bear cartoons.

Beyond animation, Jandolo was highly active in dubbing live-action films, becoming the official Italian voice for numerous international stars. She frequently dubbed actresses such as Brigitte Bardot, Debbie Reynolds, Joanne Woodward, Maggie Smith, and Jean Simmons. One of her most recognized performances in this realm was providing the voice for Lorraine Gary as Ellen Brody in the first two Jaws films. She also dubbed Frances Lee McCain in Back to the Future.
