William Callaway

William Callaway is an American retired voice actor, active in the industry from 1967 to 1996, and is also credited under the names Bill Callaway and Bill Calloway. His career was primarily focused on providing voices for numerous animated television series and films, making him a familiar presence in American animation during the late 20th century.
Among his extensive list of voice roles is the character Ulysses in the 1987 animated film Ultraman: The Adventure Begins. He is also credited with providing additional voices for the same production. This role places him within the cast of the Hanna-Barbera and Tsuburaya Productions co-production.
Callaway is perhaps best known for his long-running role as the voice of Aquaman in the various Super Friends series produced by Hanna-Barbera from 1973 through the mid-1980s, including Super Friends, Challenge of the Superfriends, and The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians. He also voiced the character Bizarro in some of these series. Another of his most significant and enduring roles was as the voice of Clumsy Smurf in the popular animated series The Smurfs, which aired from 1981 to 1989, as well as in several associated television specials and movies.
