Sonia Owens is an American voice actress known for her work in anime dubbing during the 1980s. She was born on December 7, 1925. She was married to fellow voice actor Ray Owens, with whom she frequently collaborated.

Owens is most recognized for her contributions to the English adaptation of the Christian anime series Superbook, which was produced by Tatsunoko Productions in Japan in conjunction with the Christian Broadcasting Network. In the first season of the original 1981 series, she provided the voice for Joy, one of the two main child protagonists who, along with her friend Chris, is transported back in time to witness biblical events. For the series' second season, Owens voiced the character of Mrs. Peeper, the mother of the main character Chris. In addition to these two primary roles, she voiced a multitude of other characters throughout the series, including Mary, Sarah, Esther, Ruth, and Rebecca.

Beyond Superbook, Owens's other notable anime voice roles include the 1964 series Gigantor and the anime series The Flying House, a companion series to Superbook that focused on the life of Jesus, where she voiced the character Angela Roberts. Her career also included work in television and writing. Her extensive work on Superbook, often alongside her husband Ray Owens who voiced characters such as the Superbook, the Narrator, and Professor Peeper, forms a significant part of her legacy in the field of anime dubbing.
