Asaki Yuikawa
Description
Asaki Yuikawa is a Japanese female voice actor affiliated with the agency I'm Enterprise. She was born on February 15th in Tokyo, Japan, and is a graduate of the Japan Narration Acting Institute. Yuikawa's journey to becoming a voice actor was inspired by her childhood love for anime series such as Naruto and Fairy Tail. She decided to seriously pursue this dream during the COVID-19 pandemic, which led her to enroll in vocational training.
Yuikawa officially began her career in April 2022 when she joined I'm Enterprise. Her rise to prominence was remarkably swift. In March 2023, it was announced that she had been cast as the lead character, Hōjō Tokiyuki, in the television anime The Elusive Samurai. This role marked her first time as a main cast member and was particularly notable as the character is a young boy, a type of role she had always hoped to play due to her mid-range voice.
Following her debut, Yuikawa quickly expanded her portfolio with a variety of significant roles. In 2024, she voiced Mutsumi Sugimoto, also known as Mu-chan, a curious and energetic third-grade girl in the anime Tonari no Yōkai-san. That same year, she landed her first leading role in a cinematic film, playing Yū Azuma in the movie Trapezium. The author of the original work noted that Yuikawa was immediately convincing in the role during her audition. Her other anime credits from this period include roles in Shangri-La Frontier, Wind Breaker, Blue Box, and ATRI: My Dear Moments. In 2025, she was cast in the series I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class.
Beyond anime, Yuikawa has lent her voice to various video games, including Kantai Collection and Reynatis. She has also hosted her own radio programs, such as "Asaki Yuikawa TIME IS FUNNY". Her personal interests include music and video games, and her special skill is playing futsal. She also holds a semi-first grade certificate in the Kanji Kentei (Japanese Kanji Aptitude Test).
