Nana Eikura

Description
Nana Eikura is a Japanese actress and model who has also performed voice roles in anime films. Born on February 12, 1988, in Kagoshima Prefecture, she began her entertainment career in 2002 after being scouted as a model for the fashion magazine SEVENTEEN. Her primary career is in live-action film and television, where she has built an extensive body of work since her acting debut in 2004. However, she has occasionally contributed her voice to animated projects.

Eikura's voice acting credits include two notable anime film appearances. In 2015, she lent her voice to the character Natsumi Miyada in the feature film Detective Conanan: Sunflowers of Inferno. Her most prominent voice role to date came in 2019, when she portrayed Princess Vanilla, also known as Vanilla Hime, in the 31st film of the long-running franchise, Soreike! Anpanman Kirameke! Ice no Kuni no Vanilla-hime. In this film, Princess Vanilla is depicted as a resident of the ice cream kingdom who struggles with her inability to create ice cream herself, a challenge she confronts after meeting the series' hero, Anpanman. Her casting was part of a tradition of featuring guest stars in the annual Anpanman films.

While her career as a voice actor is limited compared to her extensive live-action work, which includes acclaimed dramas such as Proposal Daisakusen and the film April Bride for which she won a Japan Academy Prize新人奖 (Newcomer Award), her roles in these two major anime films represent a secondary facet of her professional activities. She is represented by the talent agency Ken-on.
