The manga adaptation began serialization on Futabasha's Gaugau Monster website in September 2021. The anime adaptation of Magical Buffs: The Support Caster is Stronger Than He Realized! is scheduled to premiere in January 2027. The production is being handled by the animation studio J.C.STAFF. For this adaptation, Shin Arakawa is credited as the manga artist, distinguishing this role from that of original light novel author Haka Tokura and character designer Eiri Shirai. As of March 2026, the original series had surpassed 3.5 million copies in circulation.
