Azusa Tachibana
Description
Azusa Tachibana is a Japanese voice actress born in Tokyo on October 12, 2004, and is affiliated with the talent agency I'm Enterprise. Her path to voice acting began with an early interest in performance, encouraged by her mother who recognized her enjoyment of conversation and took her to see musicals. In junior high school, her mother suggested she join the light music club after noticing that a character in the anime K-On! shared her daughter's name. Tachibana embraced this opportunity, serving as a guitarist and vocalist for six years throughout her junior high and high school education, performing anime songs and music from various bands. Her interest in anime itself was sparked by watching Gintama, and it deepened during the COVID-19 pandemic when she had more time to watch series and noticed the same voice actors appearing across different works. This realization led her to enroll in the Japan Narration Acting Institute with her mother's support, and she completed her training there before joining I'm Enterprise in 2021.
Tachibana's professional voice acting career began in 2022 with a minor role as a Shinigami in an episode of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. In 2023, she voiced Himari Tamayori in the visual novel Seifuku Kanojo. The year 2025 marked a significant turning point as she landed her first main roles in two television anime series. She was cast as Yuu Yuutani in Bad Girl and as Nagase Ichijō in Princession Orchestra. In Princession Orchestra, Tachibana portrays Nagase Ichijō, the character who transforms into Princess Meteor. She described her character as the cheerful and energetic junior member of the main trio, who, despite her optimistic exterior, grapples with self-doubt about being labeled a promising rookie. Tachibana expressed a strong personal connection to the character, finding her relatable and a source of energy. Alongside her co-stars Azusa Aoi and Yuri Fujimoto, she performs as part of the unit Orkheria, singing the anime's opening theme Zettai Utahime Sengen! and its ending theme Kimi to Tsunagu Orchestra. Her other notable roles from 2025 include Ella May MacPherson in Anne Shirley. Looking ahead to 2026, Tachibana is set to voice the title role in Kaya-chan Isn't Scary, as well as roles in Noble Reincarnation: Born Blessed, So I'll Obtain Ultimate Power as Alichey and The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch as Ewe Aries. She is also confirmed for the video game Duet Night Abyss, voicing the character Snow.

Her work in video games includes roles in Monster Strike, ReverseBlue×Re-birthEnd, and Virtual Girl @ World's End. Among her personal interests, she cites drawing portraits, attending stage plays, and singing as hobbies, and she holds a Level 2 English Proficiency certification. She has also spoken about keeping a "Happiness Diary" during her time at training school to maintain her confidence.
