Sakurako Kishiro is a Japanese voice actress born on July 30, 1961, in Numazu, Shizuoka Prefecture. She is currently affiliated with the talent agency Ken Production. Before her marriage, she performed under the stage name Sakurako Hoshino.

Kishiro began her voice acting career in the 1980s. She attended Toho Gakuen College of Music, where she majored in piano, and initially worked at a music school before transitioning into voice acting. Her early roles included parts in series such as Magical Angel Creamy Mami and Touch.

Throughout her decades-long career, Kishiro has voiced characters in numerous anime series and films. She is known for her work in the long-running Crayon Shin-chan franchise, where she has played recurring characters like Nakamura, a veteran clerk at the Kasukabe Bookstore, and others such as Miss Poppi and Haramaki Lady. In the anime Kimi ni Todoke, she provides the voice for Yoko Kuronuma, the mother of the main character Sawako. Other notable anime roles include Orie Yukimi in Soar High! Isami, Marlene in The Vision of Escaflowne, Yoyoko Manabe in Magical Fairy Persia, and a young Minami Asakura in Touch.

Kishiro's work extends to original video animations and films. She voiced the character Globil in the OVA Princess Minerva. A notable role from this part of her career is Mechagodzilla in the 1996 educational OVAs Get Going! Godzilland: Addition and Get Going! Godzilland: Subtraction. In these videos, she voiced the juvenile robotic duplicate of Godzilla, a character who initially acts as a lonely antagonist before learning to become friends with the other monsters. She was also one of the voice actors for the three-headed King Ghidorah in the same Godzilland series. Additional OVA credits include Feburin in Doki Doki Gakuen: Kessen!! Youkai Daiji and roles in Kitty-Cat Fantasia. Kishiro has also contributed to the Anpanman franchise, voicing the character Pudding-chan in the 1998 film Go! Anpanman: Anpanman and his Strange Friend.

Kishiro has sustained a steady and respected career in the industry since the 1980s, with her work spanning multiple beloved franchises. Her recent roles include reprising her part as Sawako's mother in Kimi ni Todoke: 3rd Season, which was released in 2024.
