Mina Katahira is a Japanese voice actress born on July 2, 1999, in Miyagi Prefecture. She began her career in the industry after successfully passing the first Kimikoe Audition in 2016, a competition jointly organized by Tohokushinsha and CS Family Theater. Selected from approximately three thousand applicants, she was one of six winners who formed the voice acting unit NOW ON AIR, where she served as the sub-leader. Her professional debut and first major role came with the lead part of Nagisa Yukiai in the 2017 theatrical anime film Your Voice -KIMIKOE-.

Following her debut, Katahira expanded her portfolio with a variety of roles in television anime. In 2019, she voiced the character Sora in the series Outburst Dreamer Boys. She also took on minor roles in shows such as Woodpecker Detective's Office in 2020, and later appeared in Call of the Night and Yurei Deco in 2022. Her work extends to other media as well, including video games like NEO: The World Ends with You, where she voiced the character Nagi, and the multimedia project Cheer球部! as真田歩 (Ayumi Sanada), a role that also involved music performance. Beyond animation and games, she has contributed to dubbing for foreign films and television series, with credits including the film The Beguiled and the series Bridgerton.

Throughout her early career, Katahira was affiliated with the talent agency Office PAC. At the end of March 2022, she left the agency to work as a freelance voice actress. Her recurring collaborations have often been tied to her unit activities, first as a core member of NOW ON AIR and later as part of the Qace unit for the Cheer球部! project, both of which involved voice acting and singing.
