Born on February 22, 1987, she holds both Brazilian and Norwegian nationality and is active in the industry as an actress, voice actress, and singer. Mesquita has contributed her voice to a range of animated series and live-action shows. In the realm of animation, she is recognized for voicing Lapis Lazuli in the Brazilian Portuguese dub of Steven Universe: Future and Ana Spanikopita in BoJack Horseman. Her work extends to live-action dubbing, where she voiced Kate Franklin in the medical drama Grey's Anatomy.

Mesquita is particularly notable for her roles in anime dubs. She voiced the character Sakie Sato, a succubus teacher, in the Brazilian Portuguese version of the anime series Interviews with Monster Girls. This dub was produced by the studio Som de Vera Cruz and released by Crunchyroll in January 2019. She also provided the voice for the character Bruxa Regret in the Portuguese dubbing of the anime Edens Zero.
