Shinichirō Ueda is a Japanese actor and voice actor known for his work in anime and stage productions. He was born on October 1, 1993, in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. His career began after he was named a finalist in the 24th JUNON Super Boy Contest, a talent competition that led to him being signed by the agency Sunaoka Jimusho.

Ueda made his debut as a voice actor in 2013 with his first major role. He was cast as the protagonist Takao Kasuga in the anime adaptation of the manga Flowers of Evil, also known as Aku no Hana. This role marked his entry into the industry as he provided the voice for the tormented literary student at the center of the series' psychological drama.

Following his work in anime, Ueda expanded his performance career to include stage acting. In 2016, he gained significant attention for his portrayal of the character Gaara in a stage musical adaptation of the popular Naruto franchise.
