Shingo Tanabe is a Japanese male voice actor from Tokyo, born on December 7, 1978. He began his career in the voice acting industry during the 1990s. He was formerly affiliated with the Troubadour Music Office.

Tanabe has built a career performing in anime, video games, and narration. His early anime roles from 1999 include Agon in the first adaptation of Hunter x Hunter and Kuwabara in the series Iketeru Futari. In the early 2000s, he took on a variety of supporting roles in television anime such as Cosmo Warrior Zero, Gun Frontier, and Hungry Heart: Wild Striker, where he voiced the character Keiji Inokuchi. He also appeared in Beyblade: The Movie and the OVA adaptation of Hunter x Hunter.

In 2006, Tanabe voiced Heiji Kanemoto in the web anime The Wings of Rean, a role he later reprised in the crossover video game Super Robot Wars UX in 2013. That same year, he also lent his voice to the character Ulthan Ensar in the acclaimed game Final Fantasy XII. A later notable anime role was Masato Aikawa in the 2011 series Dragon Crisis.

Beyond character voices, Tanabe's work includes narration for educational resources, such as Japanese language learning programs for AJALT. He made a cameo appearance as a pharmacist in the 2015 animated film Happy Come Come. He is known to have interests in playing the guitar, basketball, and kendo.
