Her voice acting debut in anime came in 2012 with a role in the television series Good Luck Girl!. This initial work led to her most prominent voice role: providing the Japanese speaking and singing voice for the character Anna in the Disney animated film Frozen in 2014. Her performance was widely acclaimed and she won the Best Lead Actress award at the 9th Seiyu Awards for this role. She would go on to reprise the role of Anna in subsequent Disney projects, including the sequel Frozen II and the video game Kingdom Hearts III.
