Ryō Iwasaki

Ryō Iwasaki is a Japanese voice actor born on September 7 in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the talent management firm ARTSVISION and is a graduate of the Japan Narration Acting Institute.

Iwasaki's career in anime began in the late 2000s and early 2010s, during which he built a portfolio of supporting roles. One of his earliest notable performances was providing the voice for the character Sunakey in the 2010 television series Heartcatch Precure!. He also voiced the character Ryouma Nishiki in the Inazuma Eleven GO franchise, starting in 2011.

He has taken on a variety of roles across different series, often playing side characters. These include the role of Watanabe in the 2014 anime film Harmonie, and Mr. Kuroki in the 2013 television series WataMote. He has also contributed to major franchises in smaller roles, such as an air traffic controller in Fate/Zero 2nd Season and a Shinsengumi member in Gintama.

A significant and recurring role in his career is that of Spinner in the long-running series My Hero Academia. He first voiced the character in the third season of the anime in 2018 and has continued to reprise the role in subsequent seasons, as well as in the 2019 film My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising.
