Megu Umezawa is a Japanese voice actress from Hokkaido, born on May 12. She is affiliated with the Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society, which she joined in April 2020. Standing at 154 cm, she possesses a soprano vocal range. Her career in the entertainment industry began in 2020 when she moved from Hokkaido to Tokyo. Her debut role and first major credit came in September of that year when she was cast as Akari Tsujino in the popular multimedia franchise The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls. Her performance as Akari Tsujino was recognized when the character received the 18th place award in the "Internet Buzzwords 100 2020" contest, where Umezawa attended the ceremony on behalf of the character.

In December 2020, it was announced that she would host her own titular program, Megu Umezawa's Encounters, which began streaming on the Niconico Channel in February 2021. Her early work in voice acting also included a role in the 2022 television anime Chimimo as a high school girl and a friend of the character Nui.

As her career progressed, Umezawa secured several notable voice roles in anime series. She is known for playing Noa Biscuit in the series Sylvanian Families Freya no Wonder Days. She also voiced Makina Umezawa in the series Watari-kun's ****** Is About to Collapse. In 2025, she began voicing the character Maro in the television anime series Mashin Sōzōden Wataru. Her other anime credits include a role as a small raccoon dog in the film Wonderful Precure! The Movie!.

Beyond television animation, Umezawa has an extensive body of work in video games and web animations. In addition to reprising her role as Akari Tsujino in The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls: Starlight Stage and the Cinderella Girls 10th Anniversary Celebration Animation Eternity Memories, she has voiced characters such as Kanade Sonozaka in iRonas, Kumokyun in the Taiko no Tatsujin anime version and the game Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival, Moi in Brave Nine, Ume and Abyssal Plum Princess in Kantai Collection, Beni in Loop8: Summer of Gods, and Bailu Youyun in Honkai Impact 3rd. In her personal background, Umezawa's special skills include playing football and ball juggling, having played football herself for approximately seven to eight years from the second grade of elementary school, during which she even served as a team captain. Her hobbies include drawing and making french fries.
