Megu Umezawa is a Japanese voice actress from Hokkaido, born on May 12. She is affiliated with the Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society, which she joined in April 2020. Standing at 154 cm, she possesses a soprano vocal range. Her career in the entertainment industry began in 2020 when she moved from Hokkaido to Tokyo. Her debut role and first major credit came in September of that year when she was cast as Akari Tsujino in the popular multimedia franchise The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls. Her performance as Akari Tsujino was recognized when the character received the 18th place award in the "Internet Buzzwords 100 2020" contest, where Umezawa attended the ceremony on behalf of the character.

In December 2020, it was announced that she would host her own titular program, Megu Umezawa's Encounters, which began streaming on the Niconico Channel in February 2021. In her personal background, Umezawa's special skills include playing football and ball juggling, having played football herself for approximately seven to eight years from the second grade of elementary school, during which she even served as a team captain.
