Hisako Ōkata is a Japanese actress whose career has spanned several decades, primarily on stage with the Haiyuza Theatre Company, while also building a notable body of work in film and voice acting. She is known for taking on a range of roles, often supporting characters such as elderly women.

In the Golden Kamuy live-action projects, Ōkata appears in an important role. In the 2024 live-action film Golden Kamuy, she plays the character Huci, who is the grandmother of the Ainu girl Asirpa. She reprises this role for the 2024 television series Golden Kamuy: The Hunt of Prisoners in Hokkaido, where she is listed as playing Susupo Huci. Her role in these productions connects her to one of the most significant contemporary Japanese media franchises.

Her earlier film work includes a role in the 2014 live-action film Tokyo Tribe, directed by Sion Sono. In this musical gangster film set in an alternate Tokyo, she appears as the character DJ.

One of the most notable credits of her voice acting career dates back to the very early days of modern anime. She provided the voice for the title character in the landmark 1968 animated film Horus: Prince of the Sun. This film, directed by Isao Takahata, is considered a milestone in animation history and established many of the conventions that would later define Japanese anime cinema.
