Born on February 21, 1984 in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan, she is also known by the name Karina Nose. While the majority of her career has been in live-action Japanese television and film, she has taken on several notable voice roles in animated projects.

Her voice acting credits include the role of Morina in the 2009 Doraemon film Doraemon: Shin Nobita no Uchu Kaitakushi. In the realm of television anime, she is recognized for bringing to life several characters in animated adaptations, including Yoko Shiraki in the 2011 film adaptation of the classic series Tomorrow's Joe (also known as Rocky Joe), Kinue Amano in the series Real Clothes, Reiko Catherine Akimoto in the Kochira Katsushika-ku Kamearikouen-mae Hashutsujo (KochiKame) franchise, and Yukari Nitani in the series Bunny Drop.
