Taketoshi Naitō was a Japanese actor and voice actor born on June 16, 1926, in Kokura, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. He passed away on August 21, 2012, in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, at the age of 86.
Naitō is widely recognized for his extensive work as a narrator and voice actor in film and television. One of his most prominent voice roles was providing the narration for the television series Lone Wolf and Cub, a role he performed for 78 episodes. He also contributed to the franchise's film series, appearing as Mawatari Hachiro, also known as Messenger Number 3, in Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart in the Land of Demons and playing the character Gyobu Ichige in Lone Wolf and Cub: Sword of Vengeance. Naitō is also known for his voice work as the Narrator in Doomed Megalopolis 2: The Last War, the Narrator in the Lone Wolf and Cub film series, and the Politician in Sukeban Deka: The Movie.
