Kōichi Uenoyama was a Japanese actor born on March 7, 1933, in Nakano, Tokyo, Japan. He is known for his work in film and tokusatsu television series, which are live-action productions often featuring special effects and superheroes. His career is more heavily associated with live-action acting than with voice acting for anime. Uenoyama passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 89.

One of his notable roles was that of Makoto Arai, an INTERPOL special investigator, in the 1974 series Inazuman Flash. He also portrayed Dr. Daizaburo Daima, a youkai researcher who heads a research institute and acts as a mentor to the main protagonists, in the series Choujin Bibyun. His other credits include appearances in several superhero productions from the 1970s, such as a role in the original Kamen Rider series and Himitsu Sentai Goranger, as well as the metal heroes series Tokkei Winspector in 1990.
