Ena Matsuo is a Japanese voice actress affiliated with the agency I'm Enterprise. She was born on September 5th and is a native of Chiba Prefecture in Japan. Matsuo is a graduate of the Japan Narration Acting Institute.

Her debut in anime came in 2010 with a small role as a customer in the television series Squid Girl. In the years following her debut, Matsuo built a career by providing voices for a variety of minor and supporting characters across numerous anime series and video games. Her early roles included a female citizen in Eureka Seven AO in 2012 and a front desk clerk in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders in 2014.

Matsuo's most prominent role to date is as Tomoka Kusanagi in the 2016 original anime series Matoi the Sacred Slayer. She voiced the character across eight episodes of the series, which also had an OVA released in 2017. Tomoka Kusanagi is the chief priestess of the Tenman Shrine and the mother of one of the main characters, Yuma Kusanagi. In addition to this role, Matsuo also voiced other minor characters in the same series, including a boy, a cabin attendant, and a system voice.

Her career has continued with appearances in various anime productions throughout the 2010s and 2020s. She is often cast in episodic or background roles, such as a foreigner's wife in BanG Dream! in 2017, a ticket seller in Asteroid in Love in 2020, and an operator in Undead Unluck in 2023. Her work also includes a role as Tanaka's grandmother in the 2023 series Bikkuri-Men. Beyond anime, Matsuo has also contributed her voice to video games, with a credited role in the 2014 game Kantai Collection.

In addition to her voice acting work, Matsuo has listed her hobbies as reading picture books and dancing. She holds several qualifications, including a regular driver's license, a Level 3 certification in German, and a river monster capture license.
