Paulina Weiner is a German voice actress, singer, and performer born in 1989 in Düsseldorf. She began her artistic training in childhood, receiving her first acting lessons and entering a recording studio for the first time at the age of nine. She later completed her formal acting education at the art of acting school in Berlin in 2013. Weiner has continued to develop her skills through vocal coaching and workshops with instructors such as Christian Rode and Mario von Jascheroff.
Weiner is best known as the current German voice of Miles Tails Prower from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. She first assumed the role in 2019 and has since voiced the character across multiple video games, including Team Sonic Racing, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, Sonic Colours Ultimate, and Sonic Frontiers. Her portrayal extends to film and television as well; she provides the German voice for Tails in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and the series Knuckles. Beyond Sonic, her extensive video game voice work includes the role of Lyse in Final Fantasy XIV, multiple characters such as Mona, 9-Volt, and Lulu in the WarioWare series as seen in WarioWare Gold and WarioWare: Get It Together, and various roles in Yo-kai Watch.
In addition to video games, Weiner serves as a regular voice actor for the satirical online show Browser Ballett, which received a Grimme Prize in 2019. She is also the narrator for the Netflix reality series Too Hot to Handle Germany. Her voice can be heard in numerous commercials and image films for major brands including Volkswagen, Amazon Prime, L’Oréal, and IKEA. She has worked as a station voice for the online magazine Promiflash and has performed in audio dramas such as episodes of Die Drei??? Kids.
