Dimitri Rougeul
Description
Dimitri Rougeul is a French voice actor who has been active in the dubbing industry since childhood. His career began at a young age, with early work on major animated films in the 1990s. Notably, he provided the French voice for the young Simba in Disney's The Lion King, a role for which he also performed the singing parts of the songs "Je voudrais déjà être roi" and "Hakuna Matata". Other early prominent roles include Fievel Souriskewitz in Fievel au Far West and the young Thumper in a later dub of Bambi. He also voiced Vince in the series La Cour de récré.
Throughout his career, Rougeul has been the French voice for several key characters in popular anime series. In the sports anime Haikyu!!, he voiced Koshi Sugawara, the vice-captain and setter of the Karasuno High School volleyball team known as the team's "mom". In the action-comedy series Toriko, he played the role of Komatsu, a timid chef who becomes the protagonist's partner on a quest for rare ingredients.
