Federico Danti is an Italian voice actor and dubbing director, born in Milan on March 24, 1952. He is a member of the Associazione Doppiatori Attori Pubblicitari (ADAP) and comes from a family with strong ties to the performing arts, being the son of actor and voice actor Alfredo Danti. He is married to voice actress and dialogist Benedetta Brugia.
Danti is perhaps best known for his extensive and long-standing involvement with the Italian-language editions of the Pokémon anime. In addition to providing the Italian voice for the series narrator across numerous seasons, episodes, and films, he has also served as the dubbing director for the franchise, overseeing the Italian adaptations of the anime series and the majority of its movies. His work as the narrator covers a vast array of Pokémon media, from the early series like Pokémon: Indigo League and Pokémon: Johto League Champions to later iterations such as Pokémon: Black and White and Pokémon: Serie XY, as well as films like Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! and Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution. Beyond narration, he has voiced other characters in the series, including Giovanni, Dr. Zager, and Professor Oak in specific specials.
