Toru Uchikado is a Japanese-American voice actor and performer known for his work in English dubs of anime series, animated shows, and video games. Born in New Jersey, he was raised in Yokohama, Japan, before relocating to Los Angeles in 2011, a background that has allowed him to work fluidly in both English and Japanese language productions.

Uchikado gained significant recognition for his role as Hiei in the 2023 Netflix live-action adaptation of the classic anime series Yu Yu Hakusho. In this English dub, he provided the voice for the formidable and sharp-tongued demon, joining a cast that included Khoi Dao as Yusuke Urameshi and Johnny Yong Bosch as Kurama. Prior to this, he voiced the character Taka in the third season of the acclaimed animated series Castlevania. Taka is a determined and headstrong vampire hunter from Japan who, along with his partner Sumi, seeks training from Alucard, making Uchikado an integral part of a pivotal storyline in the series.

His other notable voice credits include the role of Bachō in the 2025 action anime series Sakamoto Days, showcasing his continued presence in the industry. He also provided voices for several animated films, such as Insomnia Man in the Netflix animated feature My Friend Dark and a Yakuza member in the animated comedy Spies in Disguise. Beyond voice acting, Uchikado has on-camera experience, most notably playing the recurring role of Ren Shimosawa, a young Japanese gamer, in the 2015 television event series Heroes Reborn. His recent projects also include voice work in the upcoming film Predator: Killer of Kings.
