Kento Hayashi is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on December 6, 1990, in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the agency Stardust Promotion. Hayashi is primarily known as a live-action film and television actor, having made his debut in the 2007 film Battery, for which he received several awards including the Japanese Academy Award for Best New Actor. While his career has largely focused on live-action roles, he has also taken on select voice acting work in anime productions.

In the field of voice acting, Hayashi is known for the role of Aigami, also known as Deeva, in the 2016 film Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions. This performance marked his first role in an anime voice production. He later voiced the character Tokimune Kikuiri in the 2023 anime film Maboroshi, produced by Studio MAPPA. In this film, he plays the uncle of the main protagonist, Masamune Kikuiri. His role in Maboroshi represents his second voice role in an anime and his first time working with Studio MAPPA.
