Giorgia Ionica, whose full name is Giorgia Angelica Ionica, is an Italian voice actress known for her work in dubbing foreign films and animated features for the Italian market. Born in Rome on December 10, 2002, she comes from a family with strong ties to the dubbing industry, being the sister of fellow voice actors Emanuela Ionica and Valentino Ionica.
Ionica began her dubbing career at a young age, providing voices for characters in various live-action films. Her early credits include the character Tinka in the German film Windstorm - Liberi nel vento and its sequel, as well as the role of Christine as a child in the film The Bookshop. She also voiced young Anna (at ages 9-12) in the Italian version of the Disney animated hit Frozen - Il regno di ghiaccio.
She is perhaps best recognized by anime fans for her contributions to two critically acclaimed animated films. In the 2016 film Your Name., she voiced the character Yotsuha Miyamizu, the young sister of the female protagonist. Notably, her real-life sister, Emanuela Ionica, provided the voice for the lead character, Mitsuha Miyamizu, in the same film. That same year, Giorgia Ionica took on the role of Miyoko Sahara in the Italian dubbing of the film A Silent Voice, another highly regarded anime feature. Her filmography also includes voicing a young Sheeta in a re-dubbing of the Hayao Miyazaki classic Il castello nel cielo.
