Airi Ōtsu

Airi Ōtsu is a Japanese voice actress from Tokyo who is affiliated with the talent agency Remax. Her career began in the 2000s, with her first known anime roles appearing in 2014. She is a graduate of the Amusement Media General Academy.

Ōtsu holds teaching licenses for elementary, junior high, and high school, and also possesses the rank of Shodan (first-degree black belt) in the Seiden Rōdōsha Karate style. Her hobbies include reading and exploring coffee shops.

Her body of voice work is extensive, consisting primarily of supporting and guest roles across numerous anime series. One of her notable early roles was as Draco in the 2015 series Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls. In 2016, she voiced the character Mimi Tōmatsu, also known as Mimi-chan, in the series High School Fleet. She later reprised this role for an OVA and the 2020 film adaptation, Theatrical Edition High School Fleet.

A significant role in her career came in 2018 when she voiced Maria Rasputin in the series Märchen Mädchen. Her other anime credits from this period include roles in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind (as a female guard and the medical examiner Monica Ulterio), The iDOLM@STER SideM, and The Rising of the Shield Hero. In 2020, she took on the role of Kaisei Kishi in the series Saikyō Kamizmode!.

Beyond television animation, Ōtsu has contributed to film, providing voices for theatrical anime such as Mobile Suit Gundam NT. Her work in video game localization is also notable, particularly her Japanese dubbing for foreign media. For instance, she provided the Japanese voice for the character Rachel Amber in the game Life is Strange: Before the Storm. She also voiced the character of a TV woman in the Japanese dub for the film Bumblebee.

In the field of mobile gaming, she is known for providing the voices for the characters Matoimaru and Orchid in the popular tactical role-playing game Arknights.
