Takeshi Maruyama (real name and professional name) is a Japanese voice actor born on August 19, 1969, in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the talent agency Production Ace.

Maruyama has established a career that includes a significant number of dubbing roles for Western films, television series, and video games, in addition to his work in Japanese anime. His deep and versatile voice has been heard as the Japanese dub for a wide range of characters, including Harvey Dent or Two-Face in The Lego Batman Movie, Ice King in Adventure Time, Yax in Zootopia, Preston Garvey in Fallout 4, Agent Kallus in Star Wars Rebels, and Reflux in The Incredibles 2. He also provides the Japanese voice for the character Roy in the Transformers film series entry Bumblebee, as well as the Shaman in Transformers: The Last Knight, Jerry Wang in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and the Chief of Staff in Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Within Japanese animation, Maruyama has played a variety of supporting and guest roles. His early anime work includes parts in series like the 2004 fantasy show Otogi Zoshi and as a giant in an episode of the mecha series Eureka Seven. He performed the role of Juzo Sofue in the 2008 series Web Ghost PiPoPa. In the popular comedy series Kaguya-sama: Love is War, he voices the recurring character J. Suzuki. Fans of the long-running Gundam franchise will recognize him as the character Sarcel from Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096.

Other notable anime roles include the school teacher Takehara in the Heaven's Lost Property franchise, Kazumasa Kouzuji in the dark action series Deadman Wonderland, and Captain Vernon in the military fantasy series Brave Witches. He also appears in the comedy series Wave, Listen to Me! as multiple characters including Okyuhon and Taizo Anaguma, and voiced the Headmaster in the magical girl series Tropical-Rouge! Precure. In the long-running sci-fi franchise Space Battleship Yamato, Maruyama has voiced the character Cheff Rebulse across multiple recent installments, including Yamato yo Towa ni: Rebel 3199, and also played Debarzo Bozen in Star Blazers 2199. He also appears as Baura in the fantasy film Gold Kingdom and Water Kingdom. His extensive career is marked by a high volume of work, with personal interests that include mountain climbing and travel.
