Daegan Manns

Description
Daegan Manns is an English-language voice actor known for their work in the Canadian dubs of several anime series within the Bushiroad trading card game franchise. They are primarily associated with the English adaptations produced by Blue Water Studios, an Ocean Group studio located in Calgary, Alberta.

Manns' career is marked by a long-standing and significant presence in the Cardfight!! Vanguard franchise. Their most prominent early role was providing the English voice for the character Kouji Ibuki, a central figure in the Cardfight!! Vanguard G era. They first voiced Ibuki in the Cardfight!! Vanguard G: GIRS Crisis-hen season and continued in the role for subsequent series, including Cardfight!! Vanguard G: Z, Cardfight!! Vanguard G NEXT, and Cardfight!! Vanguard G: Stride Gate-hen. Their portrayal of Ibuki, a character who transitions from a rival to a key ally, also extended to the spin-off series Cardfight!! Vanguard Gaiden: If, which explores an alternate universe centered on that character.

Beyond the G series, Manns has remained a consistent presence in the franchise's later installments, known as the "D Series." They voice the character Katsuki in Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress. More recently, Manns took on the role of Gabwelius, a powerful and mysterious unit who manifests as a key figure in the story, in the Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez series. This role has continued across multiple arcs of Divinez, including Season 1, the Deluxe Arc, and the Deluxe Finals. Their work in the franchise frequently involves voicing characters originally performed in Japanese by Mamoru Miyano, a prominent Japanese voice actor known for roles such as Kouji Ibuki and Gabwelius.

Manns' work extends to another card game anime from Bushiroad, Future Card Buddyfight. In the series, they voiced the character Rouga Aragami, further solidifying their association with English dubs of anime based on Bushiroad's trading card games.
