Maria Magdalena Rabl is a German actress, singer, and voice over artist. Born in 1976 in Munich, Germany, she trained as an actress at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), where she completed a three-year acting course with a diploma. Her professional training also includes studies at the Neighborhood Playhouse and the iSFF Institut für Schauspiel-, Film- und Fernsehberufe in Berlin. Her performance career began on stage, where she has appeared in numerous theatrical and musical productions, including as Eliza Dolittle in My Fair Lady and Sally Bowles in Cabaret. Her voice is classified as a mezzo-soprano, and she is fluent in both German and English.
Her work as a voice actor spans documentaries, commercials, and dubbing for film and television. In animation, she is known for providing the German voice for the character Edil in the anime series Helck (2023). Her other notable dubbing roles include providing the German voice for Siuan Sanche in The Wheel of Time, Maja in Year of the Shark, and Laura Tate in Rosamunde Pilcher - Amys Wunschkind. She has also worked as a narrator for documentary projects, including the Disney+ nature documentary Elephant and the documentary Der wilde Wald.
