Shouta Hayama is a Japanese voice actor born on November 15, 1995, in Yamaguchi Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent agency Axl-One. Standing 162 cm tall with blood type O, he holds a chef's license and a regular driver's license, qualifications he earned during his high school years when he trained in cooking and pastry-making. His personal interests include baking desserts, collecting hats, and seeking out genderless fashion, and he practices calligraphy as a special skill.
Hayama's path to voice acting began after he was inspired by a television commercial featuring comedians doing voice-over work. Following his graduation from high school, he moved to Tokyo to pursue this new dream and enrolled at the Yoyogi Animation Academy, where he studied for two years. He was subsequently selected for the training school affiliated with Axl-One, receiving instruction from veteran voice actor Tomoyuki Morikawa, and officially joined the agency in April 2017.
His professional debut came in 2017 with a minor role as a male student in the series The Reflection. The following year, he began to establish himself with his first regular anime role as Ichiro Dōgo in Cute High Earth Defense Club HAPPY KISS!. He also voiced the character Mark Bean in Wise Man's Grandchild in 2019. A significant early career milestone was being cast as the voice of Ultraman Fuma in the tokusatsu series Ultraman Taiga in 2019, a role he has reprised in subsequent films and series, including Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy and Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Destined Crossroad.
Hayama has built an extensive and varied filmography across anime, games, and drama CDs. He is known for his versatility, taking on both comedic and dramatic roles.
