Description
Branden Loera is a Hispanic-American voice actor and director based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, known for his extensive work in English dub productions for Crunchyroll. Born on August 5, 1993, he is a classically trained performer who earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, with a background in opera and musical theatre. His entry into voice acting came through recommendations from voice directors he worked with on stage, leading to contract work with Funimation, which later merged with Crunchyroll.

Loera has built a diverse portfolio of anime roles. He provides the voice for Ryo Igarashi in I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World, Suzuki in No Longer Allowed In Another World, Genji Karajishi in Shinobi no Ittoki, Kishi Kashiwagi in My Dress-Up Darling, Crow in I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince, and August Stilza in Gachiakuta. He has also voiced characters in Solo Leveling, Kaiju No. 8, Genshin Impact, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.

In a notable instance of casting, Loera was originally cast as Nice in To Be Hero X, but due to production circumstances outside his control, the role was recast to preserve a narrative twist involving the character's death and replacement, though he continued to voice the original version of Nice. Beyond acting, Loera is also a director and co-owner of Bluenova Studio, a company that provides talent and production services for animation and game development. He has participated in industry panels and webinars discussing voiceover work and the dubbing process, sharing his expertise alongside other professionals. His brother, Zac Loera, is also a voice actor in the anime industry.
