Nicholas Markgraf
Description
Nicholas Markgraf is a voice actor and voice director based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. He is a SAG-E (Screen Actors Guild - Eligible) performer whose career in entertainment was inspired by a childhood love of cartoons and video games, during which he would mimic voices he heard on television. Before pursuing voice acting full-time, he worked in technology and IT. He has since worked with major studios including Disney+, Crunchyroll, FUNimation, Iyuno SDI, Frost Giant Studios, and Lion Forge Animation.
Markgraf is perhaps best known for his leading role as Sensei, the character based on real-life author Osamu Dazai, in the English dub of the anime series No Longer Allowed In Another World. He also provides the voice for the character Kuriaki Magi in the series Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole. His other notable anime voice credits include the role of Guile in The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows and Zhou Xun in Link Click. He has also contributed additional voices to a wide range of popular titles such as Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy-, Blue Lock, The Daily Life of the Immortal King, Kaiju No. 8, Chainsaw Man, and One Piece Film: Red.
Beyond his work in front of the microphone, Markgraf is the co-owner of LazuArts Entertainment, an Emmy Award-winning dubbing studio he runs with his business partner Brian Holder. Through this studio, he has worked on various levels of production, including line producing award-winning video games and animation, as well as directing high-profile movie projects. In addition to voice acting and running a business, his professional interests include cinematography and content creation.
