Peter New is a Canadian voice actor born on October 30, 1971, known for his extensive work in animated series, particularly in the anime and cartoon voice-over industry. While he has appeared in live-action productions such as Agent Cody Banks, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, he is best recognized for his voice roles in animation. In the world of anime, New has contributed English dub voices to several notable franchises. His roles include Ian Vashti, the chief mechanic for the Celestial Being organization, in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Second Season. He also voiced the character Malware in Zoids Wild. In the Death Note franchise, he played multiple parts, including Kazuhiko Hibima and a Pro-Kira Student in the live-action film Death Note: The Last Name, as well as a Pro-Kira Student in the anime series. Additionally, he voiced Grubber in Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls Z, the anime adaptation of The Powerpuff Girls.
