Yumi Sudō
Description
Yumi Sudō is a Japanese voice actress born on February 3, 1988, in Kanagawa Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production. Her career in voice acting began at a young age of six. She is a graduate of the Department of English Literature in the Faculty of Letters at Meiji Gakuin University. Beyond her anime work, she is also the official Japanese dub-over voice for actresses including Hilary Duff, Hayden Panettiere, and Emma Watson in the Harry Potter film series.
Sudō began her voice acting career in the early 2000s. Her early work includes the role of Ayumi Hayami in the 2003 original video animation Submarine 707R, for which she also performed the ending theme song. In 2005, she voiced the character Aoi Himawari, the cheerful assistant for Team Satomi, in the futuristic racing anime series IGPX: Immortal Grand Prix. She voiced two distinct characters in the Sylvanian Families series titled Sylvanian Families: Flare no Happy Diary, taking on the roles of both Dern and Merry.
Sudō has also been involved in several productions within the Garo franchise. In the 2014 television anime Garo: The Animation, she provided the voice for the character Ximena Coronado. She later reprised this role for the 2016 sequel film Garo: Divine Flame, where the character is credited as Ximena Luis. Other notable anime roles include Remi Takashima in Devil Lady, Mana Imori in GeGeGe no Kitarō, Donya Shea in Last Exile, and Abi in One Piece.
