Calvin Joyal is a voice actor known for his work in anime and video game dubbing. He has been active in the voice acting industry for over a decade, with much of his early career consisting of bit parts and one-off characters that required only short recording sessions.

Joyal gained significant recognition for landing his first leading role as Kanata in the English dub of the anime series Synduality: Noir. He performed this role remotely from Canada through a setup with the recording studio NYAV Post, which produced the dub. In addition to his anime work, Joyal has contributed to major video game titles. In 2023, he voiced the character Mel Masters in the English version of the fighting game Street Fighter 6.

Professionally, Joyal has collaborated with NYAV Post, the studio behind the English adaptation of Synduality: Noir, where he worked with engineers to bring the character Kanata to life. His role in Synduality: Noir stands as a notable career achievement, marking his transition from smaller roles to a series lead after more than ten years of voice acting.
