Kyōji Kobayashi

Kyōji Kobayashi was a Japanese voice actor born in Tokyo on September 3, 1931. He passed away on March 8, 2007. Kobayashi is known for several notable roles in anime from the 1960s and later television specials.

His most prominent role was Iyami in the original 1966 Osomatsu-kun anime series. Iyami is a flashy, mischievous character known for his signature flexing pose and catchphrase "Sheeeh!".

Kobayashi also voiced Walther in the 1968 series Fight Da!! Pyuta. He played the role of Osamu Tezuka, the legendary manga artist, in two different productions: Tezuka Osamu Story: I Am Son-Goku from 1989 and the 2000 television special Tezuka Osamu ga Kieta?! 20 Seiki Saigo no Kaijiken. In addition to voice acting, Kobayashi was primarily a stage actor by training.
