Kayla Temshiv

Kayla Temshiv is an American voice actor known for their work in English-language dubbing of anime series. Based in Dallas, Texas, they are a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) and identify as gender-queer, using they/them pronouns. Beyond voice acting, Temshiv is also a writer and theatre performer; their one-act play "Waylen" has been published by Samuel French, and their radio play "To Those of You Listening Back Home" was produced and aired by WVXU.

In the field of anime voiceover, Temshiv has taken on a variety of supporting and lead roles across several high-profile series. They portray Noel in the English dub of Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World, appearing in the second season of the fantasy action series. They voice Sylvie, a dragon companion to the protagonist, in The Beginning After The End, an adventure fantasy anime that began streaming on Crunchyroll in April 2025. In the supernatural series Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse, Temshiv provides the voice for the character Shino. They play Shinobu Uzuki, an aspiring announcer and member of the broadcasting club, in Tune In to the Midnight Heart. Temshiv is also the English voice of Lena Floria in Bogus Skill Fruitmaster, where Lena is a skilled swordsman and childhood friend of the main character. In the second season of Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits-, they voice the character Kasuga. Additional animation work includes providing additional voices for the series Gachiakuta.

Temshiv has worked with several recurring collaborators within the anime dubbing industry. Voice director Jonathan Rigg has directed them in both The Beginning After The End and Tune In to the Midnight Heart, with Heather Walker serving as script adapter and Samantha Herek as producer on those same projects. They have also appeared in casts alongside actors such as Emily Neves, Christopher Wehkamp, and Daman Mills across multiple series. Beyond their anime work, Temshiv is active in the actual play podcast space, currently playing a character named Parker Henley on the TTRPG podcast Magic Isn't Real.
