Monika Kaniyashiki, also known by the alias Kaniko, is a character who appears in the spin‑off series My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. She is a member of the police force in Osaka who goes undercover as an idol for the Kanidoge restaurant chain in order to investigate the smuggling and distribution of the illegal drug Trigger. Her role is most prominent during the Osaka Incident Arc, where she works alongside Pro Hero Fat Gum and detective Naomasa Tsukauchi.
Monika is physically small and petite, with a round face and semicircular eyes that are typically depicted with orange‑brown or white irises.
