Hasumi Itō is a Japanese voice actor known for her work in anime, video games, and drama CDs. She was born on January 10 in Iwate Prefecture, Japan, and is a female voice actor with blood type A and a height of 159 cm. Her career began in the 2000s under the stage name Hasumi Itō. She later changed her name to Shinobu Izumi in July 2018 but continues to be widely recognized for the roles she performed as Hasumi Itō.

Hasumi Itō is most famously known for providing the voice of Kaoru Nagumo across the Hakuōki franchise. She first voiced the character in the 2008 game Hakuōki: Shinsengumi Kitan and continued the role in the television anime series Hakuōki: Record of the Jade Blood in 2010, Hakuōki: Otogisōshi in 2016, and the OVA Hakuōki: Snow Flower Record from 2011 to 2012. She also reprised the role for the two theatrical films, Hakuōki: Wild Dance of Kyoto in 2013 and Hakuōki: Warrior Spirit of the Blue Sky in 2014.

Beyond the Hakuōki series, another major role in her career is Aoi Tōsaka in the Fate/Zero television series from 2011 to 2012 and its related specials. Her other anime television credits include a nurse in Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 in 2009 and a mother in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure in 2012.

In video games, Hasumi Itō has an extensive portfolio, particularly in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Notable game roles include Ibis Rentil in Witch's a la mode II, Yuri Kamome in Dokidoki Majo Shinpan! 2, and the characters Chloe and Leticia in Agarest: Generations of War 2. She also voiced characters in several entries of the Sangokushi series, such as Zhang Liao and Sun Ce in Sanki Gongen and its sequels. Her work in games also includes roles in Thousand Memories, Twilight Syndrome, and Hakuōki: SSL ~sweet school life~.

Over the course of her career, she has participated in numerous drama CDs, including Fate/Zero, and provided dubbed voiceovers for international media. Her dubbing work includes the role of Rainbow Dash and Silver Spoon in the Japanese version of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.
