Reona Irie

Reona Irie is a Japanese voice actor born on December 18, 1990, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the talent agency Atomic Monkey. Initially aspiring to become a screenwriter, Irie developed a love for science fiction and the works of authors such as Shinichi Hoshi. After encountering a script by Naohito Ikenaga, his focus shifted toward a career in voice acting. He attended the cultural academy Bunkou Gakuen, where he was part of the first generation of students to complete its drama and voice acting course.

Irie made his anime debut in 2016, beginning with his first major recurring role as Maeda Tōshirō in the series Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru, a role he later reprised in its sequel, Zoku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru. The same year, he also voiced Sakyo Toudaiji (credited as Todaiji Sakyo) in the series Cheating Craft.

In 2020, he was cast in the anthology series Eternity: Shinya no Nurekoi Channel. Within this project, he played dual roles, voicing the character Takizawa in the second episode and the character Sakata in the third episode. His other anime credits include a supporting role as Seijo选手 in the sports series Aoashi in 2022 and a role as a young boy in Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!.

Beyond television animation, Irie has contributed to several video game franchises. He voiced characters in the 2014 games Binary Star and Prince Pia Carrot, and in 2015 he voiced Gobby in Zettai Meikyuu Himitsu no Oyayubi Hime. He has also performed the role of Maeda Tōshirō for the game Touken Ranbu -Online-. In 2022, he voiced the character Arumetto in the web anime series The Missing 8, and he has worked on puppet theater and voice-over work for the NHK educational program Okaasan to Issho, playing the role of Luchita. His other voice work includes a role in the motion comic adaptation of ULTRAMAN in 2019.
