Tadashi Mutō is a Japanese voice actor born on February 18, 1970, in Tokyo. He stands 168 cm tall and has blood type A. Mutō graduated from the Toho Gakuen College of Drama and Music, where he specialized in performing arts. Before pursuing voice acting, he worked as a company employee. His professional voice acting career began in the early 2000s. Over the years, his agency affiliations have included Office PAC, Amuleto, a period as a freelancer, and finally Mouse Promotion, which he joined in April 2025 after Office PAC ceased operations.

In anime, Mutō has portrayed a range of characters across various genres. He voices Man Goku, a tragic and vengeful general from the state of Zhao, in the historical series Kingdom. In the post-apocalyptic science fiction series Heavenly Delusion, he plays the character Sawatari. He is also known for the role of Ichiro Hanazono in the action series Tokko. Within the superhero genre, he provides the Japanese voice for the Asgardian god Loki in both Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers and Marvel Future Avengers. He voices Manabu Ohizumi, the narcissistic and showy student council president, in Battle Spirits: Heroes. Other notable anime credits include En in Chainsaw Man, Kodama Kentarō in Major, a role in Giant Killing, and appearing in Battle Spirits: Sword Eyes.

Beyond anime, Mutō is highly active in the field of Japanese dubbing for foreign films and television series. A significant achievement in his career is being established as the regular Japanese voice for actors Jesse Eisenberg and Ezra Miller. His dubbing work for Jesse Eisenberg includes performances as Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network and J. Daniel Atlas in the Now You See Me film series. For Ezra Miller, he is known for voicing Credence Barebone in the Fantastic Beasts film series. His dubbing portfolio also extends to numerous other live-action productions such as NCIS: New Orleans and SWAT. Mutō has also contributed his voice to video games, including Kaihoushoujo SIN and Megido 72.
