Michael Dorn, born December 9, 1952 in Texas, is an American actor whose career spans live-action and voice work. While best known for playing the Klingon Worf in the Star Trek franchise, Dorn has an extensive body of work in animation across superhero and fantasy genres. One example of his voice acting is the role of Hatchet in the film Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Dorn's voice acting career includes a wide range of characters in American animation. He provided the voice for the title character in I Am Weasel and played Coldstone in Gargoyles. Within the DC animated universe, he has voiced several characters, including Kalibak and John Henry Irons also known as Steel in Superman: The Animated Series, as well as Atrocitus in Justice League Action. He also played the role of Battle Beast, also known as Thokk, in the animated series Invincible. Other notable animation roles include Captain Mozar in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Rufus Prime in Kim Possible, and the Minotaur in Hercules. His work extends to franchises such as Ben 10, Regular Show, The Lion Guard, and the web series Transformers: Titans Return where he voiced Fortress Maximus.

Dorn has also participated in projects that fall within or adjacent to the anime genre. He voiced Lord Darkar in the Nickelodeon dub of Winx Club, an animated series produced in Italy. Additionally, he voiced Asar in Dota: Dragon's Blood, an American animated series based on a video game and produced in the style of anime. Beyond animation, Dorn has contributed his distinctive voice to video games, including the role of Marcus and Frank Horrigan in Fallout 2 and a Krogan character in Mass Effect 2.
