Minori Terada was a Japanese actor and voice actor born in Tokyo on November 7, 1942. He began his career after joining the Bungakuza Drama Research Institute in 1961, eventually leaving Waseda University to pursue acting full time. Terada passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 81 due to lung cancer.

As a voice actor, Terada is best known for his role as Colonel Muska, the primary antagonist in Hayao Miyazaki's legendary Studio Ghibli film Castle in the Sky (1986). Decades later, he voiced the Aonagi University director in the 2022 anime film Blue Thermal. In live-action cinema, he portrayed Danjo Kouga, the grandfather of the protagonist and leader of the Kouga clan, in the 2005 film Shinobi: Heart Under Blade, which is an adaptation of the novel The Kouga Ninja Scrolls. This role is one of his notable performances in a work that blends live-action and ninja fiction.

Beyond these specific credits, Terada's voice was frequently heard as a narrator for numerous television dramas and documentaries, a role for which he earned a strong reputation. His prolific live-action career included frequent appearances in jidaigeki period pieces, yakuza films, and collaborations with directors Kihachi Okamoto, Shinji Sōmai, and Akio Jissoji. He also played villainous characters in tokusatsu series, including Alien Metron in Ultraman Max and Ryubee Sonozaki in Kamen Rider W. For his lead role in the 1968 film The Human Bullet, he won the Mainichi Film Award for Best Actor. Later in life, he became a Special Professor at Tokai University, teaching courses on modern film theory and scriptwriting.
