Adeline Schebesch is a German theater and film actress and voice actor born on January 8, 1961 in Erlangen, Germany. Her early artistic career began with amateur stage productions during her school years. After initially considering studies in chemistry and biology following her Abitur, she instead pursued acting, receiving a one-year contract at the Erlangen Theater in der Garage. After a period of study in Ireland, she relocated to Vienna and was accepted into the prestigious Max Reinhardt Seminar in 1983, spending thirteen years in Austria before returning to Germany.
In the realm of anime, Schebesch is recognized for her voice work in several prominent series and films produced during the 1990s. One of her most notable roles is Ryouko in the Tenchi Muyo! franchise, specifically in the Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki OVA series.
